The fire was in the production area of the plant and caused damage to the machinery and electrical equipment.
That section of the Columbia Flooring plant will be closed for two or three days, the fire department said.
There were no injuries, and no cause of the fire was reported.
Columbia Flooring is a brand under the Unilin umbrella.
