Fordaq: United States Wood Flooring Imports Decline in April

United States solid hardwood flooring imports in April totaled $2.5 million, a 5 percent decrease compared with March and an 11 percent decrease year-over-year, according to Fordaq.

Imports of “assembled flooring panels,” or engineered wood flooring, totaled $10.2 million in April, down 2 percent from March and 11 percent year-over-year.

Solid hardwood flooring imports from China in April increased 1 percent year-over-year. Assembled flooring panel imports from China in April decreased 33 percent.
