Horizon Forest Products (Raleigh, N.C.) hired six employees among its corporate location and branch divisions.
Morgan Stout was hired as the operations manager at the Wilmington, N.C., branch. Stout is a Marine Corps. veteran and most recently spent two years working in the insulation industry. “We are proud of his service for our country and can’t wait to see the great things he will accomplish here at Horizon,” said Wilmington Branch Manager David Blackburn in a statement.
The Beltsville, N.C., branch hired two employees. Andy Waldron was hired as an inside sales representative. He has recently worked at Floor & Décor’s hardwood department and has more than 20 years of business experience. The branch also hired Shamal Brown as a driver. Brown is from Jamaica and moved to the United States with his wife in 2014. He most recently worked for Amazon Fulfillment.
Bubba Atkins is now a warehouse team member at the Greensboro, S.C., branch. He has worked in the flooring industry for 12 years as an installer, sander and finisher, and was promoted to crew leader during that time.
Bennet King is the Charlotte branch’s newest inside salesman. King spent two years working for private forestry consulting firms in Arkansas and South Carolina.
Lyndsey Campbell was hired to the Raleigh Cabinet branch’s inside sales team. She recently graduated from NC State University.
