Armstrong Flooring Launches Houzz Partnership for Retailers

Armstrong Flooring (Lancaster, Pa.) launched Houzz Pro+, a marketing program that increases visibility for Armstrong Elevated retailers on the Houzz web platform.

Houzz Pro+ allows retailers to target Houzz users located within the retailer’s location demographic. The geo-location feature means participating retailers will have their listings moved to the front of the search results when Houzz users click “Find the Local Pro” tab on Houzz. Also, 10 of the 20 listings on a Houzz search results page are now reserved for participating Armstrong retailers, and retailer’s photos will show up every fifth spot in a Houzz picture gallery.

“Our goal with Pro+ is to deliver a service that helps professionals build their brands and increase their exposure to homeowners in their local area the way they want,” said Tom Cole, Armstrong senior manager of specialty flooring retail strategy, in a statement. “We provide the tools our aligned retailers need to penetrate and expand their reach more effectively within the target areas they want to service.”

Armstrong is the first flooring manufacturer to partner with Houzz to gain visibility for its affiliated retailers. Retailers can pay for the service with their co-op funds offered as part of the Armstrong Elevate program.
