PC Wood Floors, a retailer and distributor out of Brooklyn, N.Y., moved its main warehouse from Newark, N.J., to a larger location in Linden, N.J.
The company had outgrown its footprint and needed to move to a larger warehouse so it can keep more material in stock, said Chesky Mertz, marketing director.
“We expanded our warehouse to meet the needs of our increasing customer base,” he said. “The more product we can hold, the faster we’re able to deliver to our customers.”
The new facility opened Aug. 22. It measures 100,000 square feet, whereas the older location was 40,000 square feet.
PC Wood Floors will begin hiring for its shipping and receiving department in the near future.
