The top importers of United States hardwood flooring in the first six months of 2016 were Canada, Australia and China, according to data from the American Hardwood Export Council.
Canada imported $25.02 million of wood flooring, up from $24.81 million during the same period in 2015. Australia imported $997,871 of wood flooring, up from $292,331 during the same period in 2015. China imported $701,414 of wood flooring, down from $767,048 in the same period of 2015.
In total, the U.S. exported $31.47 million of wood flooring in the first six months of 2016, down from $71.1 million in the same period of 2015.
