Myanmar Encouraging Private Forest Plantations to Increase Tree Cover

Myanmar is encouraging the domestic and foreign private sector to invest in plantations in order to increase forest cover, according to Fordaq.

Fifteen investors have already been approved for tree plantation development, and about 30,000 hectares have been established.
