In the eight weeks since the National Wood Flooring Association launched NWFA University, its online training platform, users have completed more than 2,800 courses.
“While we were confident that our members would respond positively to the courses we took more than a year to develop before launching, we never imagined that the University would be successful this quickly,” said Michael Martin, president & CEO, in a statement. “Nearly 3,000 courses completed is an unbelievable number to achieve in just eight weeks.”
NWFAU currently offers 50 courses, with more added every week. Completing a series of courses earns the user a badge, which lead to certificates for installation, sand and finish, sales and inspection. Courses for architects, designers and consumers will be added in the future.
The platform’s early success has received accolades within the industry, as well as from non-industry media. The Hill’s Congress Blog, for example, included NWFAU in its post “Here’s why associations are primed for a digital renaissance.”
