Floor & DĂ©cor (Smyrna, Ga.) will build a 1.43 million-square-foot distribution facility in Savannah, Ga.
The facility, which will be built by Duke Realty Company, is scheduled to open in January 2018. Construction will begin in November.
The building will occupy 90 acres of land about 10 miles from the Port of Savannah.
"The location of this new distribution center will allow us to efficiently manage our import operations and serve our retail outlets in the eastern portion of the United States," said Brian Robbins, Floor & Décor’s executive vice president of supply chain, in a statement.
