Michael Malone was appointed to the Armstrong Flooring (Lancaster, Pa.) board of directors, effective Oct. 1.
Malone worked for more than 30 years at Polaris Industries Inc., most recently as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. He retired from the company in March 2016.
“We are pleased to welcome Mike to our board of directors and look forward to working with him,” said Larry McWilliams, chairman of the board of directors, in a statement. “He brings with him a depth and breadth of global corporate finance experience and unwavering integrity, which will serve our board and our company well.”
Malone will also serve on the board of director’s audit committee.
