Q.E.P. Co. Inc. (Johnson City, Tenn.) is now a master distributor of the full Bissell BigGreen Commercial line in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and the northern countries in South America.
Q.E.P., which owns flooring industry brands QEP, Roberts, Harris Wood and Porta-Nails, appointed Nathan Mincey as senior director of specialty markets. He will be the point of contact with Bissell and develop sales and marketing strategies.
“This strategic alignment with Bissell Commercial will allow us to further penetrate our distributor marketplace where there is a need for professional products for remediation, floor cleaning, installations, etc.,” said Lewis Gould, chairman and CEO of Q.E.P. Co. Inc., in a statement. “In addition, with Bissell Commercial and QEP products, QEP will place emphasis behind new areas of focus; such as the maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO) community.”
