European imports of Chinese wood flooring fell 7.4 percent to 186.2 million square feet in 2015, the lowest level since 2005, according to Fordaq.
The trend has continued into 2016, with the first six months seeing a 9 percent drop to 85.0 million square feet, the report said.
Imports to the UK, the largest destination for Chinese flooring products, fell 9 percent to 29.1 million square feet in 2015.
