Mannington Mills (Salem, N.J.) was named the “New Jersey Family Business of the Year 2016” by Farleigh Dickinson University’s Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Keith Campbell, Mannington chairman of the board, accepted the award during a ceremony in Livingston, N.J., in late October.
“My great grandfather started Mannington 100 years ago as a way to stay close with his two sons. It was truly a family business,” he told the audience, according to a statement from the company. “Here we are in our fourth generation, moving into the fifth, and we’re still a true family business.”
