INSTALL Leader to Talk About Preventing Faulty Installations

INSTALL Executive Director John McGrath Jr. and College of Carpenters and Allied Trades Executive Director Cristina Selva will present a seminar about training standards and preventing failed intallations Nov. 30 at IIDEXCanada.

The seminar, “Accredited Floor Covering Training Standards: How to Protect Floorcovering Decision-Makers from Faulty Installations,” will explain how certified installations protect stakeholders against flooring failure fallout. It begins at 4 p.m.

“The quality of a flooring design is only as good as the quality of the installation,” McGrath said in a statement. “The longevity and integrity of the floor covering design can only be held up if installed properly, by people who have the right training and certification.”

The seminar costs $50 and is worth 0.1 CEUs from the Ontario Association of Architects. Participants can register online.
