Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) employees Shannan Billings, Amber Holland and Danielle Lancianese will each be recognized with a Women in Manufacturing STEP Ahead Award from The Manufacturing Institute at a reception in Washington D.C. on April 20.
The STEP (science, technology, engineering and production) Ahead Award honors women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in their careers. Billings is the global sourcing director of raw materials, Holland is the director of IS administration systems and Lancianese is a process engineer.
“We are proud that the accomplishments of these women are not just recognized within our company, but also within the broader industry at-large,” said Vance Bell, Shaw Industries chairman and CEO, in a statement. “The diverse talents within our organization are well represented by this outstanding group of women.”
