Horizon Forest Products (Raleigh, N.C.) promoted Matt Young to branch manager at the company’s Dallas location.
Young was hired in 2005 as a delivery driver for the company’s Greenboro, N.C., branch. He was promoted to inside sales in 2008, where he has served for the past nine years.
Young began his new role in March.
“Matt was first on the list of prospects when we had an opening for the Branch Manager position in Dallas, Texas,” said David Williams, VP of Horizon Forest Products, in a statement. “He is already doing such a great job in leading his team and we are so proud of Matt and all that he has accomplished during his time at Horizon.”
