More than 225 employees of Armstrong Flooring (Lancaster, Pa.) volunteered at nonprofit organizations during the United Way of Lancaster County’s Day of Caring Sept. 7. The team completed projects in local parks, community service centers and educational centers, and pledged more than $115,000 to the United Way campaign. The company’s Armstrong Flooring Community Fund also donated $200,000 to the cause.
Belknap White Group (Mansfield, Mass.) wrapped up its annual open house at its Rochester, N.Y., Solution Center Sept. 11. The event hosted representatives of 13 top suppliers, who demonstrated products and offered tips to attendees. With 85 guests, it was the event’s biggest turnout yet, according to Rochester Branch Manager Mike Maslyn.
