Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) was recognized with the Environmental Partner of the Year Award by The Home Depot during its annual supplier partnership meeting Oct. 2.
“The spaces where we live, work, play, learn and heal have a huge impact on our lives. That’s why we’re committed to using safe ingredients and designing sustainable products,” stated Susan Farris, VP of Sustainability and Corporate Communications for Shaw.
For the past 20 years, Shaw said it has used Cradle to Cradle, a third-party certification that assesses material reuse, renewable energy, water and social responsibility performance, in order to create and strengthen its sustainable business practices.
