Floor & Décor’s net income jumped 14.2 percent during the third quarter of 2018 compared with the same period in 2017, rising to $26.6 million.
Net sales grew 26.7 percent during the quarter to $435.9 million, and diluted earnings per share for the company increased 13.6 percent from the same period last year to 25 cents.
The company opened seven stores during the quarter, bringing its number of locations to 95.
“Looking ahead, the growth opportunity for Floor & Décor is significant,” said CEO Tom Taylor in a statement.
During the quarter, Floor & DĂ©cor announced plans to expand its headquarters and relocate to Cobb County, Ga., a move anticipated to create 500 new positions in the company.
