WFB Briefs: Kährs To Open Wood Pellet Plant; Shaw Opens Mobile Dental Center

Kährs Group (Malmo, Sweden) announced it will open a wood pellet plant in Nybro, Sweden, to produce biofuel from wood material that cannot be used for wood flooring production. The plant will be operational in December 2018 and will be able to produce up to 60,000 tons of wood pellets per year.

 

Shaw Industries (Dalton, Ga.) announced the opening of the Shaw Family Dental Center, a mobile dental unit which will serve Shaw associates and their families who are covered by the company’s dental insurance plan. The center is opening in partnership with Onsite Dental and has flexible hours for employee convenience.
