Houtwerf will continue all of its European flooring distribution operations, according to Richard Blinkhorn, who has been tasked with selling the North American brand’s inventory. Forest Brand Floors’ engineered flooring had been manufactured in a joint-venture mill located in northeast China. Its inventory includes 9/16-inch engineered wood flooring.
The mill in China will continue to manufacture flooring for Houtwerf’s European operations, Blinkhorn told WFB.
The inventory is currently located in a climate-controlled warehouse in Atlanta and is available for inspection by appointment.
