Bags of sawdust and oil-soaked rags used for floor finishing spontaneously combusted and caused a dumpster fire in Boxford, Mass., Ipswich Local News reported.

Firefighters were called to the scene and quickly extinguished the small fire.

“The majority of the time on scene was spent digging through the rest of the dumpster to ensure the fire was out,” the Boxford Fire Department said on its Facebook page. “These products have the potential to spontaneously combust, especially in piles or in enclosed spaces.”
