PG Flooring is seeking a territory manager to oversee the Northeastern territory of the U.S.
The territory manager will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities, contacting relevant professionals, presenting the company, opening new accounts and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, according to PG Flooring. They will report to the VP of sales and marketing.
Main duties will include:
• Targeting and solicit new customers
• Increasing PG Flooring’s market share in the Northeast (ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ)
• Analyzing PG Flooring’s positioning (market share) by territory
• Recommending to management actions to be taken to open new customers in existing or non-existing territories
• Prospecting
• Visiting customers in a strategic and organized approach
• Establishing an action plan with customers
• Developing strategies to implement customers’ action plans
• Implementing and promoting programs
• Handling all inquiries from potential customers
• Reassessing distribution agreements annually
• Maintaining customer and prospect activities on the company’s CRM system
• Informing management of any new developments in the industry (industry watch)
• Training customers’ sales staff
• Setting up merchandising at customers’ sites.
The territory manager will receive a cell phone, car allowance, $1,000 hiring bonus, paid vacations based on employee’s place of residence, amount allocated for corporate branded clothing, profitability bonus, sports registration or membership reimbursement and rebate on hardwood floor purchases.
