Microban Launches AkoTech Antimicrobial Coating Technologies

Microban launched AkoTech, a multifunctional coating technology platform that provides adhesion, water and oil repellency and chemical resistance for hardwood flooring and other hard surfaces. AkoTech can be used as a water-based clear topcoat for residential and commercial floors. Its formulation has heavy metal–free antimicrobial technologies to inhibit bacterial growth and prevent mold and mildew growth, the company says.
