Bona Reduces Its Greenhouse Gase Emissions by 41% in 2024

Bona reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 41% in 2024, according to its recently released 2024 Sustainability Report.

Its 2024 Sustainability Report highlights ways Bona has advanced its key sustainability initiatives.

"Throughout 2024, Bona remained steadfast and resilient. Our commitment to sustainability has been a core driver of our innovation, helping us progress toward our environmental, social, and governance goals," Interim Bona CEO Kerstin Lindell said in a statement. "We are proud to share the progress we’ve made in reducing our environmental impact, improving working conditions, and fostering greater transparency across our operations."

Other key findings show Bona received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Safer Choice Partner of the Year award. This is the fourth year in a row Bona has received this award, recognizing its efforts to produce safer, high-performance chemical products.

Last year, the company released its Mega EVO wood floor finish with advanced self-crosslinking technology and less than 3% VOCs.
