Flooring Sustainability Summit Launches Project Design Award Program

The Flooring Sustainability Summit launched The Project Design Award Program to recognize “environmentally responsible and visually compelling” residential and commercial projects.

The award is open to architects, designers, planners and construction professionals. Eligible projects must have been completed in the United States within the last three years and demonstrate how flooring played a central role in the project’s sustainability strategy.

Participants can submit to residential or commercial categories, and the judges will critique based on resource efficiency, innovation, environmental and human health impacts, relevant certifications and overall design excellence.

Submissions are free and open until May 19. Enter online here.

Winners will be recognized at the 2025 Flooring Sustainability Summit July 16–17 in Washington, D.C.
