Drone Footage Shows Gym Floor Destroyed By Hurricane Michael

Drone footage of some of the damage inflicted by Hurricane Michael shows a devastated middle school gymnasium’s wooden floor in Panama City, Fla.

The video, captured by ABC News, shows the walls blown off the sides of the gym; the drone then flies inside the decimated building and films the rubble, cinderblocks and standing water covering the wooden floor.

The Category 4 storm was the strongest storm to hit the Florida Panhandle in 49 years when it struck the area Oct. 10. The death toll from the hurricane had risen to 17 at the time this article was published, and more people were still unaccounted for, according to ABC.
