The Floor Covering Business to Business Association (fcB2B), a non-profit that is part of the World Floor Covering Association and is focused on the development of B2B technology in the flooring industry, will hold its annual meeting Aug. 15–17 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla.
Phil Zolan, fcB2B executive director, said in a statement that he will introduce new technological standards at the meeting that will move the industry toward modern technology versus old technology used in the 1990s.
“In many cases, outdated business-to-business transaction systems have been hindering trading partners across industries that have adopted more advanced B2B platforms,” Zolan said.
The fcB2B and WFCA will work together to help increase the adoption rate, maximize efficiencies and help flooring businesses across categories move into the digital age.
The event costs $650, which includes breakfast, lunch and a welcome reception. Visit fcB2B.org for discounted room rates and registration.
