An 18-year-old man was taken to the hospital after getting his pants and genitals caught in a belt sander while on a job site in Mosman, New South Wales, Australia, 7News Sydney reports.
The young pro was treated for injuries at the job site and was in stable condition while being transported to the hospital, where the belt sander was removed, according to LAD Bible.
It is unclear how the man became caught in the machinery. He suffered suspected tears in his genitals, according to the report, and has since been discharged from the hospital.
SafeWork NSW, New South Wales’ work safety agency, has launched an investigation into the incident.
