RollMaster Software announced it will acquire VenCom, an Electronic Data Interchange company that offers custom-written software for flooring dealers.
The acquisition was precipitated by the passing of VenCom founder and co-owner Bob Turner earlier this year, according to RollMaster.
“Bob was a founding member of the fcB2B initiative, as were we, so the relationship between us and our companies is longstanding and one of mutual respect,” RollMaster VP Patrick Ferries said in a statement. “We both share the goal of expanding the adoption of fcB2B among both supplier and flooring dealer, and we, as a company, are honored to be able to continue Bob's legacy by ensuring the continued functionality VenCom has always provided to their customers," Ferries added.
VenCom EDI customers will experience no interruption of service or any immediate changes to the current import process in the transition, according to RollMaster.
