As the summer of 2020 draws to a close, we asked our readers to share some of the gym floors they prepared during the season. And while this summer was certainly unlike any other, reader submissions showed that gym floor creativity and craftsmanship persevered.

Hero Flooring hasn’t slowed down since taking home the 2020 WFB Best Gym Design Award in April and completing this remarkable community center floor. The company partnered with Court Dreams to complete this custom flooring for Remy Workouts in Medley, Fla.
J&J Gym Floors | Wayne, N.J.
J&J Gym Floors has been busy this year bringing larger-than-life animal logos to sports floors on the East Coast. The following courts were completed at facilities in Newton, N.J., Newark, N.J., and Jordan, N.Y.

Gulventreprenøren saw a lot of red this summer while completing this atypical ash sports flooring at the Høng Culture and Movement Park. “A bit different, and a very special floor,” the company said. “The walls were painted to match the color on this ash floor.”

The gym floor job this year at Pluto Basketball Academy in Colorado Springs was a special one for Parkers Hardwood Inc./Legacy Renovation, which stripped, cut and painted lines and logos on the original floor at the facility 30 years ago.
