A few years ago, clean, light “Scandinavian”- style plank floors reigned in Lithuania, says Brigita Kavaliauskiene, head of marketing for Šiauliai, Lithuania-based Frevini. Recently, however, “We have noticed that people are increasingly looking for exclusivity,” Kavaliauskiene says. The age of patterned and custom flooring is here and being seen throughout some of the largest cities in Lithuania. “These are usually custom-made products, including exclusive, noncollectible colors, new patterns, installation methods and so on,” Kavaliauskiene says.
