has taken over
the eastern shores of Virginia,
says Terry Wood of Chesapeake,
Va.-based Ozark Flooring. It may
be instinctual to see the coastal
trend in a coastal area, but Wood
says this trend is emerging
after a long stretch of gray wood
floors. “ I feel the gray trend got
so over-saturated that clients
returned to what naturally fits
our area,” Wood says. In the
last three years Wood says his
clients are desiring lighter,
natural color schemes and
weathered-look textures.
