One of the world's oldest cities has a new wood flooring trend. Chevron floors have had a recent surge in popularity in Athens, Greece, says George Kavetsos of Athens-based Wood Flooring Kavetsos. "I began to notice that about a year ago and am glad because I really love this pattern," he says. The trendy color choices have leaned toward whites and grays. "I think it became popular in Athens because it blends modern with traditional," Kavetsos adds.
