Dewevai Buchanan has been named president, North America, at green flooring company Style Limited (Perth, Australia). Buchanan has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently serving as vice president of Mohawk Industries' Wood Products Division; he has also handled sales and marketing duties at Kährs and Award Hardwood Floors.
"Dewevai is a highly experienced and respected executive in the flooring industry, with a proven track record of delivering growth through a multi-channel expansion strategy for one of the leading flooring companies in the world," said Style's CEO Peter Torreele. "His in-depth knowledge of the market will be invaluable for Style to deliver on our ambitious expansion plans in the North American market."
Buchanan joins Chris Cox, who was named Style's U.S. sales director in September 2010. Style Flooring specializes in bamboo and eucalyptus flooring.
