Oakcrest Lumber & Flooring LLC (Monticello, Ga.), a newly formed company owned by T&F Lumber Company, acquired the flooring manufacturing facilities and related lumber operations of Oakcrest Lumber Inc. in Buena Vista, Ga., and Newport, Tenn., effective Oct. 1, according to a press release.
The operations will continue under the Oakcrest name with the existing workforce and customer and supplier relationships intact. The Buena Vista plant manufactures unfinished solid hardwood flooring, and the Newport plant manufactures unfinished engineered hardwood flooring and Appalachian kiln-dried hardwood lumber.
“Our intention is to preserve what customers have long valued about Oakcrest while investing in the future of the business,” said William Faircloth, president and CEO of Oakcrest Lumber & Flooring. “Bringing these three state-of-the-art facilities together gives us the opportunity to continue delivering the quality our customers have come to expect while expanding the products and capabilities we can offer.”
