Flooring retail software Floorzap (Lehi, Utah) appointed Dan Blake chief product and technology officer.
Blake brings more than 30 years of experience building and leading software teams, and most recently served as chief product and technology officer at Aspire Software, a commercial landscaping management software. During his tenure, Aspire’s product and technology team grew from seven people to more than 260 as the company scaled from an early-stage startup through an acquisition by ServiceTitan and into one of its largest product lines.
In his new role, Blake will own Floorzap’s product and engineering organization, set the technical direction and lead AI initiatives. “Dealers tell us they need modern and cloud-based software that keeps up with how their business really runs,” CEO Matt Buckley said. “Dan has led product and engineering for software built for the trades, and he has spent recent years putting AI into production systems. That is the experience we wanted running product and technology at Floorzap.”
