Joseph Tosaj, product manager at Appalachian Flooring Ltd. (Cowansville, Quebec) wants to make something perfectly clear about the company he works at: It remains open for business.
Last week it was reported that Anderson Hardwood Floors (Clinton, S.C.) was discontinuing its Appalachian and Biltmore brands, and Tosaj said that since then he has received calls from confused customers in the U.S. wondering whether it was his company that was closing. It was not. "Appalachian Flooring in Canada is doing extremely well, and it is not being closed," Tosaj said.
