In its second year, the 2015 International Surface Event East (TISE East) has shifted its dates and location.
The TISE East 2015 exhibit floor will be open Nov. 3–5, with a comprehensive education program running starting Nov. 2 and ending on Nov. 5. The event will take place in Orlando, Fla., at the Orange County Convention Center.
Part of the reason for the location change is to make travel, housing and freight more affordable for exhibitors and attendees, said Dana Teague, vice president of TISE East organizer Informa Exhibitions.
The inaugural show was held Oct. 19–22, 2014, in Miami Beach, Fla., at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
More than 180 floor covering, stone and tile exhibitors participated with 50,000 square feet of exhibits. Attendee demographic data showed 65 percent of participants were from the Southeast region of the United States.
