Basic Coatings plans to move its headquarters from Toledo, Ohio, to Bowling Green, Ohio, about 25 miles south of the current location.
The move will take place mid to late 2015 after the company’s existing Bowling Green building’s manufacturing and warehousing space is expanded. The building, once completed, will encompass about 500,000 square feet.
"We ultimately selected the Bowling Green area based on its availability to meet our needs for a quality manufacturing and office space, quick access to major highways and local amenities attractive to our team members,” said Brad Betz, senior vice president, in a statement. “As we continue to grow, this state-of-the-art facility should act as another factor to attract talent and bring jobs to Northwest Ohio."
The move will support the company’s growing business, said CEO Paul Betz in a statement.
