Pioneer Millworks (Farmington, N.Y.) ranked 32 on list of the 100 fastest growing companies in the Rochester, N.Y., region. Last year the company was number 55.
To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, businesses must be independent, privately held, headquartered in the nine-country Rochester region and have at least $1 million in revenue.
Jennifer Young, Pioneer Millworks general manager, said the company would not have received the ranking were it not for the staff and company mission.
“While the honor reflects our bottom line growth, we believe the fact that we make products that matter, in as environmentally and socially responsible way as possible, attracts the area’s most enthusiastic, talented, smart people to come work with us,” she said in a statement. “Our people are the reason we made the list two years in a row.”
Pioneer Millworks was founded in 1989 and employs 47 people.
