Hardwood Floors magazine’s most popular E-News stories in 2015 offer a glimpse into what made the wood flooring industry tick last year.
Not surprisingly, the formaldehyde in Lumber Liquidators’ Chinese-made laminate products was the biggest news story of the year. Among the 20-most read E-News articles, the Toano, Va.-based retailer factors in 14 of them.
However, scandal does not beat out industry creativity and craftsmanship. The two most popular articles of the year were about the 2015 Wood Floor of the Year winners and the live-edge walnut stairs project that would end up winning the coveted Members’ Choice award.
