North America’s slice of the global DIY market in 2014 was 63 percent, or $293.31 billion.
North America was followed by Europe (30.7 percent, $141.66 billion) and the Asian Pacific region (3.9 percent, $18.11 billion).
The top 10 major DIY retailers worldwide are: Home Depot (USA), Lowe's (USA), ADEO (France), Kingfisher (UK), Menard’s (USA), OBI (Germany), Bunnings Building (Australia), Bauhaus (Germany), Sherwin Williams (USA) and Tractor Supply (USA).
