The Kährs Group earned $7.3 million (62 million SEK) in profit during 2015, an increase of 102 percent from the $3.6 million (31 million SEK) profit it made in 2014.
Net sales for the year amounted to $319.03 million (2.7 billion SEK), an increase of 4 percent from $306.04 million (2.59 billion SEK) in 2014.
Hardwood flooring accounted for 86 percent of Kährs’ net sales in 2015.
“The group’s profitability continued to develop in a positive direction and in line with our expectations,” said Christer Persson, president and CEO, in a statement.
