The Fly-In allows hardwood industry professionals to meet with their members of Congress and discuss the federal issues that impact their businesses. For example, participants at last year’s Fly-In, such as National Wood Flooring Association President and CEO Michael Martin, spoke at length with Congressional leaders about the Federal Forests Management Act, the Northern long-eared bat and the Lacey Act.
HF’s Green Blogger Elizabeth Baldwin published photos and a recap of last year’s event on her blog.
This year’s full itinerary can be viewed online.
