Direct Design Floor (South El Monte, Calif.), an online-based flooring business, launched its website and operations in August.
The company currently stocks six prefinished engineered hardwood flooring collections, three laminate flooring collections and an assortment of wood and laminate moldings. Direct Design Floor serves customers in California, Nevada and Arizona, and plans to expand service to other states, according to the company’s website. The company will deliver the products to the customer’s home, or the customer can pick up the product at a warehouse or distributor location.
The company sees Amazon and Ebay as its business role models, said Sherri Beauchamp, customer experience team lead, in a statement.
“One of the high points of Direct Design Floor so far is streamlining the delivery process so customers don't have to pay inflated pricing at large box stores and are able to choose for convenient delivery right to their door,” she said.
