Truth About Trees, a kid-focused, award-winning educational program from the Hardwood Forest Foundation, will showcase a 3,500-square-foot exhibit at the Omaha Children’s Museum in Nebraska, October 2017–April 2018.
The exhibit, “Timber Team: The Truth About Trees,” will allow children to become immersed in the forest products industry, said Crystal Oldham, HFF executive director, in a statement.
“This is the forest products industry’s opportunity to really share its positive harvesting message on a stage like no other,” she said. “Thousands of children will visit the exhibit with their parents, teachers and caretakers, essentially dipping into our world, putting on our hard hats and seeing it through our eyes.”
With proper funding, the HFF will be able to travel with the exhibit to at least three other cities in the United States.
