Thompson Mahogany Co., a hardwood importer, hired Charlie Craig as executive vice president.
Craig will be responsible for managing and overseeing Thompson Mahogany’s overall growth strategy.
Craig was CEO of Craig Lumber Corp. for 20 years and then vice president of AHC Craig Imports for five years. He started his career sourcing Philippine mahogany and North American hardwoods in the United Kingdom market before moving to the United States and sourcing mainly African hardwoods for Craig Lumber.
“We are looking forward to having Charlie as executive vice president, and I think we made the right moves to help Thompson Mahogany to grow and prosper with this experienced leadership team,” said Wayne Rogers, president and CEO of East Teak Fine Hardwoods, which owns Thompson Mahogany, in a statement.
