Floor and Décor (Smyrna, Ga.) launched an initial public offering of about 8.8 million shares worth between $16–$18 per share, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
The company told the publication it expects net proceeds from the IPO of $133.5 million, which will be used to pay down debt. Shares will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange with the symbol “FND.”
“We believe Floor and Decor is redefining and expanding the addressable market size of the hard surface flooring category and that we have an opportunity to significantly expand our store base to approximately 400 stores nationwide within the next 15 years," the company said in a Feb. 10 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
