Entries are now open for Schönox's (Florence, Ala.) annual Worst Subfloor Contest. This year it has a theme: “What Lies Beneath?”
Contest participants submit photos of their most challenging subfloor projects and explain how they renovated the subfloor using Schönox products. The worst subfloor conditions paired with the highest-quality renovation wins.
“Each year the number of entries increases along with national attention on the contest, which points to the strong desire to do exceptional work in the flooring industry,” said Doug Young, executive vice president, in a statement.
The winning installers and the companies they represent will win prizes. Registered contestants will have opportunities to win additional prizes during special promotions planned throughout the contest.
Only projects completed between Dec. 23, 2016, and Dec. 22, 2017, are eligible. Entries can be submitted online or via the Schönox app.
